Osijek is situated in eastern Croatia on the Drava river, roughly 35 km from the Serbian border and 50 km from the Hungarian border. The city serves as a key regional hub with its own international airport (OSI) 20 km from the city. It is roughly 2.5 to 3 hours by car from major regional hubs: Zagreb (approximately 280 km), Belgrade (approximately 160 km), and Budapest (approximately 280 km).
